I am not sure if you had a reply to your question, but I would also like to see if there will be a 2010 Datawatch conference?

Since these are traditionally in May and it is almost April, I'm leaning towards their won't be a conference this year either.

Does anyone know anything for certain one way or the other?

Default "Smaller events"

Hello Joey,

I've been asking too, and haven't got a definite answer but get the impression that Datawatch are focussing on smaller regional events this year. I hope there will be another proper user conference one day. Perhaps all of us on these forums could organise one ourselves? :-)

Best wishes,

Olly

I sent an email on the DataWatch website and received the response that there would no longer be any conferences. They were considering other options but no decision made. This was about 2-3 months ago.

I remember when John Kitchen and Mike Urbonas had come out to LA for a small meeting with us. I believe this was just prior to them releasing their Windows version. They had asked us if we were interested in Regional user groups. We told them we were very interested in the idea, but nothing really came of it.

I wonder if they're thinking of do that again?

Default Regional groups

Hello Nick,

I get the feeling that it's going to be up to us users to get these things going.

If anyone at Datawatch is reading, then I'd certainly be up for a European user group meeting.

Perhaps Datawatch could contact users via the newsletter to canvass support for regional events like this?

Best wishes,

Olly
