monarch 7.01

I recently downloaded v7.01. I noticed that in my programs the append function no longer worked - monarchobj.settextappend(1) - instead of appending, the export just overwrote the text file. Has anyone else seen this as a bug in the new version? I reinstalled v7.00 and settextappend worked correctly.

I'm using version 7.01 pro and I just tried the monarchobj.settextappend method and just as you said whether it is set to 1 or 0 it just overwrites the file. I'm not to sure whether it was working in my version 7.00 because I dont't usually use this method.

If you do find out why it isn't working could you post back and let me know?

I called up datawatch tech support and they confirmed that this is a bug in v7.01 and that it will be fixed in the next release. settextappend does work in v7.0.

Oh well... at least they know about it! Thanks for posting back. By the way how did you get back to 7.0? Did you just reinstall/repair using the original disc?

i had to uninstall and then reinstall v5, v6, v7 - ugh!
