Hi All,
I have been getting different error messages when it runs. I fixed one that said the excel sheet was locked by another user but now the export gets half way done and I get the message that "The file is not in the expected format. Only excel 97 and higher versions are supported." The excel sheet is 2007 and I am on monarch 9.01. I am exporting 7 sheets into one excel file and half of them work fine. Does anyone have an idea where I should look for the problem?
Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum Sandra.

This is probably going to sound like an odd question, but have you changed your system's printer (http://www.monarchforums.com/showthread.php?p=12748) lately?

There have been cases with v8 and v9, iirc, where, for whatever reason, certain printer drivers seem to affect Monarch's ability to export to files.

Maybe try to activate another printer before exporting. Any improvement?

Also, fwiw, always try to export to your local C: drive instead of a network drive.

I haven't changed the printer but I can try it. Also to Grant the file is an excel 2007.
Thanks

I found the work around for the failure. I put the export back on my local drive and it works fine. I guess it did have something to do with savining to another drive. Thanks for your help.
