Over the years, we have helped many of our customers interested in attending the Datawatch User Conference to justify the cost to attend and gain managerial and budget approval.

Here is a summary of the material I have provided in the past for this purpose.

The Datawatch User Conference will offer Monarch learning sessions at ALL levels. Every attendee at every level of Monarch skill will be able to build a custom schedule that matches his or her needs, from beginner to expert!

Other high-value/Return On Investment features of the User Conference will include:

* Solutions Lab - You can bring copies on disk/CD your most complex reports, and our Datawatch consulting team will work one-on-one with you to help you solve your Monarch challenges. This personalized consulting alone makes the registration fee for the User Conference a genuine bargain -- see, for example, info regarding Datawatch's Monarch Model Building Service at: http://www.datawatch.com/vortexmlsupport/model_building.htm and http://www.datawatch.com/pdf/Model_Payment.doc

If you need help with a particular Monarch challenge, or some one-on-one help to understand a Monarch concept, the Datawatch User Conference Solutions Lab is for you!

* Presentations by fellow end-users, industry experts, and Datawatch staff will help give you new ideas on how to use Monarch. These presentations are not available anywhere else.

* Our attendee feedback for our past conferences are "excellent" across the board, year after year!

Finally, we have held the registration fee to attend the User Conference at the same previous level as previous years, of $995. Plus, you will have an opportunity to save $100 with an Early Bird Discount. You can also receive an additional discount of $50 per person, for multiple attendees from the same organization. Your superiors can rest assured we have kept the costs to attend the Datawatch User Conference as low as possible.

I hope this information helps you secure approval to attend. Please don't hesitate to contact us at the Datawatch User Conference team at conference@datawatch.com directly with any further questions.

We hope to see you in Phoenix this May 2008!

Unfortunately this corresponds with some training I have scheduled.

If that training gets canceled and I'm notified in time, I'll try to get permission to attend.
