Hi Tony,
Perhaps this info from the Monarch help file will be useful:
Monarch provides two methods you can use to hide and re-display fields, described below.
1. Select Edit, Hide/Display Fields (ALT, E, H). The Hide/Display Fields dialog is displayed.
2. To hide a field, select the field from the Displayed Fields list, then choose Hide. Repeat for each field you want to hide. To re-display a field, select the field from the Hidden Fields list, then choose Display. Repeat for each field you want to re-display.
3. Choose OK to redisplay the table.
To hide or re-display fields from the Field List dialog:
1. Select Edit, Field List (ALT, E, L). The Field List dialog is displayed. This dialog displays the properties for all fields in the Table window, including a column that includes a Hide checkbox for each field.
2. Ensure that the Show Table Properties checkbox is selected.
3. To hide a field, select the appropriate checkbox in the Hide column. To re-display a field, unselect its Hide checkbox. Note: You may click on the Hide column title to sort the fields such that all hidden fields are grouped together. You may find this convenient when reviewing which fields are hidden. To restore the original order of fields, click on the Display Order column title.
4. Repeat step 3 to hide or re-display additional fields.
5. Click OK to close the Field List dialog and apply your changes to the table.
