I have a new format that I will be receiving existing reports from my mainframe. I already have MOD files built for the old format. The new format adds one new column on the left which throughs off the MOD file. Is there anyway to adjust the MOD file without recreating it from scratch?

If I understand your request, you should be able to edit the model by doing the following:
1. Open a sample of the new report format.
2. Load the existing model.
3. Create a template to trap the new column's information.
4. Select the Save Model option from the File menu.
Before doing so, however, be sure to copy the model in case you make a mistake when editing it. Good luck.

I had to do this also. Open the report, then open your old model (I would also suggest a copy and rename of your old model). Select Templates/ Edit. Now adjust your model selection criteria (i.e. move to the left or right using ctrl-x (copy) and ctrl-v (paste))
